Find your calling at Mercy! The Senior Development Officer works closely with the Regional Vice President to design and execute a comprehensive development strategy for major and planned gift prospects for the regional Mercy Health Foundations. This position solicits for hospital programscapital campaign gifts and ongoing fundraising efforts. This individual will workwith Mercy physicians as part of the grateful patient program. This position performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Position Details:
Education: Bachelor's degree.
Experience: Minimum three to five years of successful principal and major gifts experience.
Preferred Experience: Demonstrate experience in effectively working with all levels of leadership and staff. Demonstrate success in soliciting major gifts (gifts of $10,000+). Experience securing philanthropic support for ahospital or health system
Preferred Certification/Registration: CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive).
