Position: REMOTE - Senior Finanical Analyst I

Shift: FT Days - 8:00am - 4:30pm 40/hrs per week

Overview:
The Senior Financial Analyst I will be responsible for working across a variety of disciplines within the Finance Department including investment accounting, debt accounting, and community benefit reporting. The Senior Financial Analyst I will report to the Director - Tax and work closely with other Finance team members.
This position will include the following responsibilities:
- Preparation and review of investment and debt journal entries and account reconciliations
- Preparation and review of Compliance disclosures to meet internal and external reporting deadlines
- Participate in the Company's monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure financial information is recorded completely and accurately
- Assess technical accounting standards and apply to reporting results and disclosures
- Assist with preparation for and support the Company's investment audit
- Prepare and communicate investment and debt reporting analysis to various stakeholders
- Compile and prepare quarterly and annual reports for community benefit reporting
- Assist with and lead organizational initiatives and special projects
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related
Experience
- 3 years of related experience in a public accounting firm
- Technical investment accounting knowledge related to investments/debt (preferred) and/or a desire to grow in understanding of investment/debt accounting
- 1 year of supervision experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- CPA or CPA candidate

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Ability to prioritize when working on multiple complex projects
- Proactive planning and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and SQL reporting tools
