This is a full time Team Leader-Respiratory position with Mercy Hospital St. Louis.
The Team Leader-Respiratory provides and/or guides care or education to groups of patients and/or co-workers. Coordinates services/care with the Director/Manager in respiratory care services departments. Provides and serves as a resource/consultant in the respiratory care services department. Provides and serves as an educator/project management specialist and/or QI expert.
Education: Graduate from an Accredited Respiratory Care program
Licensure: Must have a current license in the State of Missouri.
Experience: Five years clinical experience in Respiratory therapy required.
Certifications: Registered as a therapist (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care
Other: Must be current in BLS. Must be current in NRP/PALS if working in Neonatal/Pediatric Critical Care areas. Must be current in ACLS if working in Adult Critical Care area.
Other: Computer literacy, including the use of Microsoft Office Products.Preferred Education: BS and/or Masters level degree.
Preferred Experience: Quality Improvement, data collection and/or project management. 6-10 years clinical experience
