Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, Onsite, Mesa, AZ

WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON

  • Receiving materials
    • Verify piece count.
    • Verify serial/lot numbers.
    • Inspection of incoming materials for damage.
    • Delivering materials to designated areas.
  • Verify receiving documents, quality documents, and maintain updated electronic inventory system.
  • Handle and move materials by hand, with a cart, and/or forklift.
  • Categorize, estimate, and verify form-fit-function of materials during the receiving process and incoming quality analysis process.  Inspect materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.  Verify sizes, quantities, and packaging based on issued purchase orders and future needs.  Ensure proper labeling of segregated and accepted materials in the storage areas.
  • Review and provide input on procedures and forms which will be used when training or instructing others.
  • Inventory and cycle counts.
  • Other duties as required.
  • Incoming Materials Receiving Process
    • Reviewing C of A
    • Updating Great Plains
    • Transfers and adjustments in inventory system.
    • Segregation of materials
    • Coordinate material sampling and lab coordination

Shipping Duties and Responsibilities

  • IATA/IMDG and 49 CFR certified.
  • Shipping Instructions: UPS ground Haz & non-Haz.
  • Shipping air freight.
  • Tama Nepes shipments.
  • Exporting documents in ERP system.
  • Shipping instructions for Canadian ground shipments.
  • Process shipment and paperwork via FedEx.
  • Domestic truck & ocean container shipping documentation.
  • Shipping document & invoice process.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2-4 years of Warehousing / Inventory experience.
  • Working knowledge of computers and MS Office software.
  • Working knowledge of arithmetic and grammar.
  • Demonstrated ability to:
  • Follow written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in order to meet established deadlines.
  • Work as a team and/or independently.
  • Perform tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

SALARY & BENEFITS

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $22-$30/hour

WORKING CONDITIONS

Duties are generally performed indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions, in a 24-hour per day, seven days per week manufacturing environment.   Handling and working with hazardous materials and chemical manufacturing equipment is routine. The employee may work in the presence of fumes or airborne particles, hot, toxic, or corrosive chemicals, water, liquids, and electrical equipment. Employees will work in a covered Process Safety Management (PSM) environment containing threshold quantities of flammable liquids and/or gasses that have a potential for fire or explosion. Employees working in this environment are required to be free from devices that are not considered intrinsically safe. Examples of devices that may not be intrinsically safe include Insulin Pumps, Pacemakers, Pain Management devices, etc. The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud.  When working in the presence of these hazards, the employee is expected to follow company safety rules and use proper personal protection such as: hardhat, respirator, hearing protection, protective clothing, safety glasses, safety footwear, etc.
