The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with Elmhurst Hospital Center, serving the culturally diverse community of Western Queens, has an exciting opportunity for a full time BC/BE Infectious Diseases position.
Join a well-established and growing, respected Infectious Disease Division in one of the most diverse neighborhoods on the planet. Our ambulatory services are nationally recognized for excellence in primary HIV Care, and include a growing prevention program with an emphasis on Sexual Health and HIV PEP and PrEP. Ambulatory services also include management of viral hepatitis, general infectious diseases, tuberculosis, and a host of tropical infections. Our inpatient Consult Teams see a variety of patients from all departments. Elmhurst is a main site for the Icahn School of Medicine Infectious Disease Fellowship. You will participate in the education of Fellows, as well as residents and medical students. Great opportunities for academic growth! Candidates must have an MD degree and be board certified/board eligible in Infectious Diseases with a valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number. We also offer a faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medical at Mount Sinai commensurate with credentials, experience and qualifications.
