Pay Range: $18.77 - 22.80 hourly   Job Description: Your Piece of the Puzzle Join NFM's fabrication team as a CNC Operator/Programmer and take ownership of the critical first stage in transforming raw stone into precision‑cut countertop components. You'll program and run our dual‑table CNC Sawjet system, ensuring every slab is prepared with accuracy, consistency, and care. Job Duties: A Day in the Life   Monitor: Verify correct material selection, orientation, and quality before each cutting operation Manage: Read and interpret production drawings to create accurate CNC programs for individual cuts Plan: Determine cutting sequences and processes based on schedule, material, and production requirements Assist: Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, hand grinders, and related tools following all safety standards Collaborate: Load raw slabs, unload finished pieces, remove waste, and coordinate with shop teams to maintain safe, efficient workflow   Your work will directly impact our ability to help people create a lifestyle they love, for the people they love—because that's what we love.   Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?   High School Diploma or GED preferred  2 years' experience in the operation of CNC machines preferred.   2 years' experience in executing CNC machine programming using software such as AlphaCAM preferred.  Maintenance experience preferred.   Knowledge of inventory software such as Slabsmith, workflow software such as Moraware  Knowledge of stone countertop materials (quartz/granite/marble)  One year experience in countertop fabrication or related field  Lift test required: ability to lift, push, pull required weights per established requirements for the department Computer skills and ability to navigate through MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)  Ability to enter data quickly and accurately  Pre-employment screening includes, but isn't limited to, Respirator fit test, Chest X-Ray, and criminal background check
