DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

  • Performs more technical exploratory testing to assist development teams
  • Solid understanding of Software Testing methodologies and practices
  • Delivers and hits interim milestones. Identifies and resolves dependencies. Contributes to roadmap
  • Work is mostly self-directed at team level.  Exercises independent judgment to determine work approach and resources needed
  • Improves key performance and quality indicators for their domain
  • Improves testing workflow and systems. Analyzes existing processes for shortcomings
  • Spurs and facilitates meaningful discussion around complex issues
  • Records defects in JIRA, attaches defect numbers to failed test cases, and follows up on resolved issues
  • Updates existing test cases
  • Assists as necessary with creation of new test cases
  • Delivers results that are key to successful completion of projects
  • Owns decisions that impact a project's results
  • Actively coaches and mentors junior members of the team. Leads by example
  • Participates regularly as a key interviewer by accurately assessing the skills, potential and fit of candidates
  • Up to 10% travel, domestic and international


Qualifications

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS
  • Intermediate PC Skills (Word, Excel, and Visual Studio)
  • Three to six years of experience in software testing  
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid passport may be required
