We are currently looking for experienced Security Guards to join our team for a large high-profile shopping mall in Downtown Vancouver.
Pay Rate: $23.00/hour
Shift Availability: Full-time. Must be open to work any 5-days of the week (Sun-Sat), on either Graveyards (0000-0800hrs), OR Mornings & Afternoons.
Requirements:
- Valid BC Security Worker License
- One year of work experience in security
- Prior work experience in customer service is an asset
- Experience handling aggression or dealing with incidents independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong comprehension and report writing ability
- Good work ethic and professional deportment
- Cheerful and helpful customer service approach
- Physically able to complete long patrols - walking 20,000+ steps per shift is expected
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
- AST certification is an asset

Job Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting regular foot patrols throughout the site
- Handling evictions and interacting with individuals under the influence
- Daily interaction with police, public, clients, and tenants
- Managing situations involving narcotics and aggressive behavior
- Writing detailed incident reports
- Monitoring CCTV and communicating via radio
- Enforcing property rules and bylaws
- Supporting emergency responders as needed
