Job Skills / Requirements The Zone Supervisor is assigned responsibility, accountability and authority to monitor all work activities of staff members, to identify and report any problems which could have an impact on the company's service delivery. Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, contractors and visitors alike. Be familiar with and follow current policy and procedures for the General Duties side of business at Paladin Security. They will be responsible for responding to alarms, mobile patrols and any issues that might arise on the GD side of our business. This position is a Part time position.
 
Job Skills/Requirements 
 
- Create and maintain a positive morale within the department focusing on building a team environment and inclusive culture.
- Communicate all client and management expectations effectively whilst nurturing a team-based approach to problem solving.
 - Set an ideal example for all staff through consistent professionalism and expertise.
 - Ensure all officers are adequately trained and prepared utilizing the employee orientation package.
- Patrol maintenance including RFid placement and updating of patrols through the Tracktik website in accordance with client standards of service and coordinated with the Mobile Manager.
- Ensure all departmental responsibilities are being completed on a nightly basis and maintaining a record greater than 90% of all alarm responses under 30 minutes.
 - Run analysis and supervision to ensure all Specials are operating efficiently and maintaining the ability to remain flexible.
 - Provide operational support and guidance to Mobile Officers in the field encompassing incident response.
- Conduct a minimum of 6 nightly Quality Assurance checks on officers to ensure Paladin standards are being met 
- Zone Supervisor field duties including patrols and alarm response when needed.
 - Liaise with all available CSM's via e-mail to obtain direction, special requests, and convey field information directly. If not available in person, via e-mail.
- Training and mentoring of all staff including the administration of employee annual performance reviews, rotational and monthly accolades, and/or verbal discipline; all with management input and authorization.
 - Ensure fleet vehicles are maintained and exhibiting superior deportment. All deficiencies are to be remedied and/or reported.
- General departmental administration as required including nightly shift reports.
- Conduct 6-10 site visits per shift.
- Handle officer enquiries and requests personally, liaise with management for resolution; and communicate findings to staff as required.
- Provide required transports and equipment drop offs when requested.
- Ensure officers have completed relevant online training courses through Paladin's Learning Management System. Courses include site orientations, customer service, and report writing.
- Performs any other duties as determined by operational need.
 
Requirements: 

- Hold a valid security license 
- Holds a full Class 5 drivers license, and can provide a clean drivers abstract for the last three years 
- Computer literate and able to easily assimilate knowledge of site systems 
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 
- Dependable & Professional in all job functions 
- Able to display objectivity and sound judgment 
- Previous security experience 
- supervisory experience is an asset  Education Requirements (Any)

High School Diploma/GED

Certification Requirements (All)

Valid Class 5 Drivers License
Valid Security Licence
