The Paycom Service Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing accurate and timely support to the Paycom Service Department. Assisting Supervisors with metric reporting and managing specific projects through completion. Members will assist daily with completing EOD tasks and providing support daily. Assisting Service teams with perfect payroll processing. Members will assist daily with completing EOD tasks. Various short-term and long-term tasks are assigned that will require members to adapt and change course quickly. Assist Paycom management and service teams with special tasks including audits, adding hierarchy and reporting. Members of this team will ensure the highest level of internal and external customer services. They will provide an active and key role through-out the year to alleviate as much as possible from our department and to deliver outstanding products to our clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accurately complete various tasks such as reporting, projects, audits, etc. Actively asks questions and is willing to investigate deeper.
  • Assist with quarter and year end processes. assist with multiple tasks to prepare our clients for year-end. They will assist with any audits, projects, etc., that the department needs in order to ensure the department meets all filing deadlines.
  • Process the payroll according to the customers and Paycom managements instructions. Review customer notes to ensure all necessary tasks are completed for each payroll while striving for 100% accuracy.
  • Regularly scheduling meetings for individuals and the department.
  • Communicate with various members of the PSD Department on all updates to projects or reports managed, providing reports to leaders, and coordinate efforts between PSD and other departments as needed. Assumes responsibility for ensuring all Management reporting is completed accurately and timely.
  • Team members will update, create, audit, and reconcile reports daily. Employees will effectively communicate with management when resolving reporting issues. Makes independent decisions on problem resolution that is consistent with Paycom's policies and procedures. This requires that the task be completed in its entirety by the responsible party before moving on as most reporting is reviewed by upper management including but not limited to the CEO of Paycom.
  • Assumes responsibility for ensuring EOD Dashboard is completed accurately and timely. Team members will monitor, create, audit, and reconcile EOD reports daily. Employees will effectively communicate with internal clients when resolving EOD exceptions and issues.


Qualifications

Education/Certification:

  • High School Diploma

Experience:

  • At least one year in customer service or support role

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree

Skills/Abilities:

  • Basic understanding and demonstrated application of project management principles and best practices.
  • Basic understanding of project management techniques with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities priorities, tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with Excel, Access and PowerPoint skills, as well as basic skills with MS Project, Power BI.
  • Basic analytical skills and ability to recognize, analyze and solve complex problems.
  • Basic data management skills; ability to audit, format, model and analyze large data sets.
  • Ability to distill data and analysis into high-level reports and summaries.
  • Ability to discern data inaccuracies through technical experience and knowledge.
  • Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions.
  • Strong collaboration skills in order to partner effectively across various levels of the organization.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organization skills.
