Description

The Paycom Events and Experiences Marketer Sr will play an important part on the Events and Experiences team as events and experience are an important part of meeting Paycom's business objectives. The Events and Experiences Marketer Sr will plan and produce events and experiences for marketing to prospects and clients through various events including user conferences, brand activations and more.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops project plans for large-scale events to include project initiation, planning, execution, control and closure
  • Plans and coordinates the logistics of events which increase brand awareness to include planning (identifying/negotiating price for event space, determining event agendas, coordinating event marketing), setting up space and displaying promotional materials, closing out event with any necessary follow-up.
  • Facilitates resolution to all issues to reach event goals
  • Creates and maintains events and experiences project plans including day of coordination
  • Collaborates and leads projects with others on the marketing team
  • Maintains a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Represents Paycom in a professional and positive manner in all interactions, including networking events and other activities outside of normal business hours


Qualifications

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
  • 4+ years of experience in coordinating and/or planning events and brand activations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification:

  • Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) and/or project management certification

Skills/Abilities:

  • Must be able to interface at a senior executive level.
  • Must be able to manage external vendors.
  • Excellent time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills are critical.
  • Service-oriented attitude with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Personalize the experience for each customer by fostering relationships, anticipating needs and exceeding expectations.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and be a team player who works collaboratively with colleagues and management.
  • Excellent customer service skills needed for vendor relations, client interaction and stakeholder interaction.
  • Experience working in a dynamic environment and track record of successful execution of multiple events with opposing priorities.
  •  Strong project, and time management skills – highly organized, detail focused, results driven, accountable with the ability to handle stress and last-minute, urgent requests.
