Quality Carriers, Inc. (QC), headquartered in Tampa, FL, is North America's largest bulk liquid chemical carrier. Through a network of more than 100 terminals and facilities, we transport a broad range of chemical products and provide our customers with value-added transportation services.

Design and implement quality assurance (“QA”) tests using scripts that automatically test system operation.

Automation:

• Find opportunities for automation within business processes
• Collect requirements from business to create the best automation strategies
• Document system requirements, define scope and objectives, and create system specifications.
• Use business process management (BPM) tools and scripting to automate and improve processes
• Design and implement quality assurance (QA) tests using scripts that automatically test system operation
• Identify issues and bugs in service and business processes
• Support and monitoring of automation processes

DevOp Support:

• Automate administrative tasks such as account, task, and service management.
• Support and maintain DevOp environment

Business Intelligence Support:

• Function as a liaison between IT, business, and vendors to support and communicate business intelligence resources.
• Work closely with internal and external clients to identify analytical requirements
• Document data lineage from source data to enterprise data warehouse solution.

Skill/Knowledge Requirements:

Minimum education/experience necessary to perform the job:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 0-2 years of relevant experience. Logistics experience a plus

 Minimum special knowledge and skills required:

• Strong communication stills (both verbal and written)
• Ability to meet deadlines, address communication issues
• Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
• Google Workspace
• Scripting knowledge including but not limited to Powershell, Javascript, Google Apps Script, and Python
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Microsoft SQL
• Ability to function as part of a team at a high level
• Critical thinker

Physical Demands

The employee will regularly and repetitively be required to talk, hear, sit, type, reach and grasp in a typical office environment.

This position may require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping or crouching. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 20 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

This role is in office at our Tampa location at least four days a week with one day of remote work possible. 

This job typically operates in an office environment and routinely uses standard office and computer equipment.
