The position:

This is an opportunity to lead the ANZ business in it's next phase and continue to build our presence in the Public Sector across Australia and New Zealand.

The Head of Public Sector Enterprise Sales is a senior-level “Player-Coach” who will be responsible for growing the Government program and our team presence across Federal, State and Local governments. This position can be based in Qualtrics' Sydney, Melbourne or Canberra offices. The Head of Public Sector Enterprise Sales will be responsible for closing new Federal,  State and local business, managing a pipeline of new business prospects, and maintaining key relationships with Qualtrics' existing Government customers.  This leader will partner closely with Qualtrics' marketing, customer success, industry consultants and 3rd party partners to drivel customer adoption of the Qualtrics Insight Platform. 

Where you will have an impact:
  • Manage and grow a team of Solutions Sales professionals with a focus across the ANZ public sector.
  • Ensure positive collaboration with key functional areas in country (Sales Leaders, Professional Services, Implementation, Subject Matter Experts, Legal etc). 
  • Serve as executive sponsor for key accounts, events and press in the region.
  • You will be a trusted advisor at an Executive level within the client base.
  • Connect and develop professional relationships and existing clients and prospects throughout organisational levels.
  • Display a  data driven approach to managing contract negotiations/deals with multiple reps at a time.
  • Strong communication skills, aware of the message being transmitted to the team, how it's delivered, and it's perception.
  • Demonstrate experience successfully managing through change in a fast-growing environment.
  • Entrepreneurial approach to effectively managing a business.
What you will need:
  • Strong proven background in either Federal,State or Local Government sales with a track record of leading teams to exceptional and sustained results.
  • Experience managing an enterprise level sales team to achieve great results.
  • Recent experience selling complex SaaS software solutions to Federal, State and Local Government Departments and Agencies.
  • Tertiary qualification or higher preferred.
  • Competency with one or more sales methodologies and CRM technologies, including Salesforce.com and measuring system compliance.
  • Record of over-exceeding quarterly team quotas through metric based skill development and internal team management.
  • Understanding of working on complex contract negotiations.
