Principal Technical Program Manager- Security Ops

This role is critical in orchestrating complex, cross-engineering initiatives to achieve our ambitious goals. You will partner with teams across IT, Procurement, Financial Planning & Analysis, and more to streamline budgeting and vendor intake processes, enabling efficient onboarding of new technologies. As a key cross-functional leader within the Products, Engineering, and UX teams, you'll ensure budget compliance and drive enhancements to our bottom-line costs and profit margins. You'll collaborate across multiple disciplines to lead these large-scale projects to success.

Things You'll Do

  • Build and lead our overall security program, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and risk management strategies.
  • Design, implement, and maintain robust operations processes and frameworks to enhance our security posture and operational posture.
  • Help drive our compliance frameworks to continuously unlock new business
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, engineering teams, and product management teams to identify security gaps, prioritize initiatives, and drive continuous improvement in our security operations.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) as it relates to our security programs
  • Help lead and drive a culture of security, ranging from training engineers to educating product managers on security processes and best practices
  • Manage relationships with cross-organizational partners, ensuring alignment with our security objectives and compliance requirements.
  • Define Requirements and Roadmaps: Develop multi-quarter or multi-year plans for complex programs, ensuring they're aligned with company goals.
  • Coordinate Across Teams: Collaborate with various disciplines to meet project objectives and ensure timely delivery.
  • Drive Visibility and Alignment: Establish mechanisms to keep all cross-engineering initiatives visible and aligned.

What We're Looking For On Your Resume

  • Experience: 10+ years in technical program/project management or similar fields.
  • 5+ years' experience in at least two of the following areas: threat intelligence, security engineering, data mining, information security, security operations/incident response, cyber-crime investigations or intelligence, fraud prevention, cyber threat hunting
  • Large-Scale Project Management: Proven track record in managing and delivering large software development projects.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Experience collaborating across various functions with multiple dependencies and constraints.
  • Effective Communication: Ability to establish credibility and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical partners, including executive staff.
  • Experience with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, PCI, NIST, etc)
  • Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale, complex security programs
  • Excellent project management skills with experience in Agile methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization
  • Relevant security certifications (e.g., CFE, CISSP, CISM, CRISC) are highly desirable

For full-time positions, this pay range is for base per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, education, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be included in an employment offer, in addition to a range of medical, financial, and other benefits, based on eligibility criteria.

Washington State Annual Pay Transparency Range $196,500—$357,500 USD
