Senior Treasury Analyst

 

Why We Have This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Treasury professional to join our dynamic and goal-oriented Treasury team. This role is critical because it directly addresses the strategic financial needs of Qualtrics, particularly in managing our capital markets, foreign exchange exposures, and investment portfolios. Reporting directly to the Treasurer, this position offers high visibility to upper management and plays a pivotal role in safeguarding our financial assets and optimizing returns to fuel our continued success.

How You'll Grow

  • Work directly with the finance leadership and have significant exposure to upper management, influencing strategic financial decisions.
  • Take ownership of critical areas like debt issuance, risk mitigation, and investment management, providing ample scope for impactful work.

Things You'll Do

  • Capital Markets Leadership: Lead all aspects of debt issuance, manage lender relationships, ensure covenant reporting, monitor debt obligations, and precisely forecast interest expenses.
  • Comprehensive Risk Management: Proactively identify and assess financial risks such as foreign exchange fluctuations, liquidity shortfalls, and interest rate volatility. You will develop and implement robust strategies to mitigate these risks and protect Qualtrics' financial assets, serving as the in-house FX expert for various stakeholders.
  • Strategic Investment Oversight: Oversee and execute investment activities with the dual goal of maximizing returns and maintaining an acceptable level of risk. This includes continuous monitoring of investment performance and making data-driven recommendations for portfolio adjustments.
  • Cross-Functional Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate closely with Tax, Accounting, and FP&A teams to identify, design, and implement process improvements that enhance overall financial efficiency.
  • Advanced Financial Modeling & Analysis: Develop sophisticated financial models to evaluate key treasury decisions, analyzing their potential impact on liquidity, capital structure, and hedging strategies.
  • External Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with our banking partners and other external stakeholders involved in capital markets, including rating agencies.
  • Continuous Improvement & Best Practices: Stay ahead of financial industry trends, regulations, and best practices. Proactively identify and lead initiatives to continuously enhance treasury operations, financial efficiency, and overall effectiveness.
  • Cash Operations Backup: Serve as the primary backup for all essential cash operations activities, ensuring seamless continuity.

What We're Looking For On Your Resume

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Certifications such as CTP, MBA, CFA, or comparable experience are highly preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in relevant financial environments, such as consulting, investment banking, accounting, or corporate finance.
  • Demonstrated strong financial capabilities, specifically showcasing advanced financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Deep understanding of core treasury functions, including verifiable experience in capital markets, investment management, and foreign exchange.
  • Evidence of a "take ownership" mentality and a proven ability to excel both independently and collaboratively.
  • Examples of meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in your work.

For full-time positions, this pay range is for base per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, education, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be included in an employment offer, in addition to a range of medical, financial, and other benefits, based on eligibility criteria.

Washington State Annual Pay Transparency Range $114,000—$207,500 USD
