Summary:
The Manager Region Credit is responsible for managing the Credit team for a designated region(s). Develops training and mentors team members, and ensures the team is providing superior customer service. Manages operational goals and metrics within defined company parameters.
What You'll Do:
- Manage a team of Supervisors, Credit Managers, and Credit Specialists in the completion of various Credit Management responsibilities
- Oversee staff selection, performance management, goal setting, training, and development
- Develop and supervise team members to motivate positive attitude, career growth, and strong performance results
- Evaluate workloads, determine priority, and implement changes to continuously improve productivity and efficiency
- Develop and mentor team members in preparation for assuming greater responsibility
- Evaluate credit and assess risk of renewable energy opportunities with a focus on Solar Industry customers
- Recommend credit limits based upon detailed credit analysis in a sensible manner based upon given authority
- Portfolio Management: Responsible for managing Renewable Energy customer portfolios based in the US
- Collaborate with internal and external teams in support of proposals, presentations, early pay providers and other evaluations of Solar business opportunities
- Ensure that the Credit team is providing superior customer service
- Perform credit analysis on new customers including financial reviews when required
- Credit risk decision making responsibility within delegated levels of authority
- Manage operational goals and metrics within defined company parameters

Qualifications
- High School or GED - Required
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent - Preferred
- Ability to participate in the development of a training program for team
- High-level customer service orientation and focus
- Strong communication and telephone skills required
- Ability to multi-task and possess problem-solving skills
- Computer literate and proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Solid organizational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to deal positively with conflict
- Ability to be a team player and a people person with a “positive, can do” attitude
- Detailed oriented
- Self-starter, can work without constant supervision
