Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for a Maintenance Lead to join our team at our Martensville, SK location. This position is responsible for providing leadership to the maintenance team and maintenance services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and support a unionized maintenance team by providing daily guidance, coordinating work, and ensuring alignment with the collective agreement.
Maintain the safety, reliability, and optimal performance of all site equipment, assets, and grounds.
Execute and support preventive maintenance programs to improve uptime, efficiency, and equipment reliability.
Troubleshoot, repair, fabricate, and install mechanical equipment, with exposure to electrical systems, boilers, steam production, and automation.
Partner with the Plant Manager/Supervisor to prioritize maintenance activities, support continuous improvement and capital projects, promote a strong safety culture, and participate in after-hours call rotation as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
2-3 years' experience as a Maintenance Mechanic and/or Millwright/Electrician in a production or equivalent journeyman certificate.
Previous leadership or Lead Hand experience is considered an asset.
Hands-on experience in industrial maintenance including boilers, steam production, and HVAC systems.
Proven analytical / problem solving skills.
Ability to read and work from blue prints.
