River Valley Counseling Center, Inc. is looking to hire a Senior Program Director#who will report to the Executive Director. We are looking for someone experienced with State and Federal Grant Contracts. This is a Full Time position, Monday- Friday working 40 hours a week, with full Benefits (Excellent Health and Dental Insurance, Vision, 403B Retirement Savings, Vacation Time, and many other great benefits provided through the Agency). The salary range for this position starts at $80,000 and can be discussed for a higher compensation based off experience. The essential job function of the Senior Grants Director is to oversee all agency-wide grant programs and manage all grant contracts in compliance with the policies and procedures of River Valley Counseling Center and Regulatory Agencies. Some of the main duties and responsibilities include: To oversee the recruitment, training, evaluation and supervision of the on-the-job performance of assigned personnel/grant program managers/directors. To prepare annual budgets for assigned programs and manage the programs and the staff consistent with approved budgetary goals. To work in collaboration with the agency#s grant writer to identify, write and submit grant applications. To establish and achieve goals and objectives for assigned programs consistent with RVCC goals and with advances in the applicable fields of treatment or advocacy. To propose, plan, oversee and develop approaches, services and programs that enhance the services of RVCC and is responsive to the needs of clients within the assigned programs. To cultivate, enhance and maintain interdepartmental staff, affiliated organizations, and community relationships. To identify, collect and report relevant statistical data to reflect the activities of the assigned programs and staff and to ensure compliance with administrative, regulatory and, if applicable, contractual requirements. To aggressively market the services of RVCC in collaboration with the Executive Director and to maintain and follow up ongoing communications with community, State or Federal and private or public resources with whom RVCC has or desires to have contracts. To plan, implement and/or coordinate appropriate programs and services in collaboration with other RVCC departments, affiliated organizations and community agencies. To manage the assigned programs in compliance with policies and procedures of RVCC, State and Federal regulations and standards. To develop and maintain proficiency in using RVCC computer systems accurately and effectively. To become knowledgeable of the accounts payable system and to assist the Executive Director with operational issues and special projects as assigned. To facilitate monitoring and auditing of processes and operations to ensure compliance with policies; to assist in developing appropriate mechanisms to accomplish same. #To maintain mature and effective working relationships; to cultivate, maintain and enhance inter/intra departmental relationships and customer relations by: 1.) #Encouraging cooperation in a respectful manner. 2.) #Utilizing tactful, direct, and sensitive interaction skills to promote positive customer relations and interpersonal relationships 3.) Professionally representing the department and RVCC, both within and outside the agency # # QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Master#s degree in Human Services, Social Work or related health or human services field.
