Here is some of what you can expect from being a Pre-Admissions Testing Registered Nurse with us:

You will perform all procedures in accordance with all standards and policies set by the PreOp Department of Rose Medical Center. 

You will perform Lab testing as assigned based on protocol of each test, documenting results and communicating criticals as defined

You will follow lab testing safety guidelines, maintenance and QC completion/documentation, and proficiency testing as assigned. 

You will Follow "good lab practice" in testing and initiate corrective action as issues occur with test system or result.

You may be asked to rotate/float to areas other than your assigned service area, and you will perform only those duties for which you have demonstrated competency. 

 

What qualifications you will need:

Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license. 

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.

Experience requirements are specific to position in PreOp Care Center and other departments as appropriate.

Able to articulate and demonstrate appropriate nursing theory and practice.
