Title: Administrative Assistant II

Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Gynecology Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 FTE: 1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Functions as a para-professional, assigned to support the broader range of activities and responsibilities typically accorded to Chairs, Chiefs and/or Assistant Vice Presidents; performs duties in support of other professional staff related to the function of their assigned department or departments.

Salary range is $54,860 - $66,634 which includes a comprehensive cancer center. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience

1. Associate's degree and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time secretarial or related experience; or
2. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time secretarial or related experience.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred candidates will have experience in administratively supporting a busy professional, with additional preference for support of an academic physician or scientist. Extensive experience and skills using Microsoft Outlook to manage an executive's calendar, with additional preference given for managing multiple calendars at once. Experience using Microsoft Word & Excel, as well as experience in a Workday environment processing purchasing/reimbursement transactions. Preference for experience that includes booking & coordinating travel for an executive. Position requires candidates to be fully-engaged and committed to the Roswell mission, understand the importance of teamwork in a complex work organization, and display and work in a professional manner.
