Roush is currently looking for a General Laborer to complete a variety of tasks within our Engine Build Department. This is an entry level position that may lead to a career in skilled trades.
As a General Laborer, you will be responsible for:
- Performing general manual labor tasks, including use of hand tools and support of team members during jobs
- Meeting daily goals
- Identifying any hazards as observed for safety of personnel and equipment
- Communicating issues with supervisors
- Performing any other duties as assigned including shop clean-up
To be considered as a General Laborer, you will need:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 18 years of age or older
- Experience working in a shop environment or equivalent military experience
- Dependable transportation
- Availability to work overtime and overtime and weekends when necessary
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance record
- Self-starter, self-motivated, and willing to learn
- 1 year of experience working in a shop environment or equivalent military experience
- Valid driver's license
- Experience operating a hi-lo
- Experience packing and shipping parts
- Knowledge or hand tools
