Job Description :
Summary
The Manager Transportation is responsible for all client facing transportation management activities including field operations.
This position will be onsite in Rayville, LA. This is a 24hr operation and we are hiring for the overnight shift. Starting Salary would be $75,000 - $85,000/yr depending on experience.
Possibly shifts available:
Monday Evening - Saturday Morning - 6pm - 3am
Monday Evening - Saturday Morning - 10pm - 7am
Essential Functions
Primary liaison between GC's & logistics teams managing the project plan
Coordinate flow of materials and equipment to the site with the GCs
Voice and advocate for GCs responsible for aligning deliveries with shifting project timelines and plans to avoid bottlenecks or site congestion
Aligns efforts and results to customer requirements and scope of work
Develops and manages corrective actions and continuous process improvement
Supervises others (hire, promote, coach, develops and performance management)

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required in Business, Logistics or related field of study or a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience
Master's degree preferred in Business, Logistics or related field
Eight (8) years or more relevant work experience required
Seven (7) years or more industry related experience required
Seven (7) years or more previous experience with financials and finance acumen required

Compensation Information :
The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:
