Summary

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and executing various tax-related tasks, including compliance, analysis, reporting, and reconciliation. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. The candidate will perform data preparation, account analysis, and work-paper creation in support of the returns. Position reports to Tax Compliance Manager, will work closely with other tax staff and other departments.

Essential Functions

  • Participates in monthly and quarterly closing procedures
  • Completes monthly closing procedures including recording necessary monthly journal entries, international billing, capital expenditure reports, reconciliation of accounts (including Charitable Foundation and Disaster Relief fund), preparation of FX rates, verifying accuracy of Hyperion roll-forwards and sub-schedules and resolving any variances noted, validations, monthly preparation of financial rations along with financial analysis of these areas to ensure accuracy
  • Participates in the preparation of 10Q and 10K which includes preparing and sourcing assigned footnotes/sections, ensuring accuracy of these areas through financial analysis, ensuring internal and external financial reporting deadlines are achieved and working with external auditors
  • Preparation of statutory financial statements
  • Participates in special projects as needed including assisting in the implementation of new financial reporting software

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Required
  • 3 years or more experience with a large corporation or CPA firm, Required
  • 3 years or more experience with SEC reporting, Required
  • Advanced level skills in MS Excel such as working with formulas, data management and analysis are required Advanced, Required

Compensation Information :

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:

Pay Type :

Salaried

Minimum Pay Range:

$70,000.00

Maximum Pay Range:

$75,000.00
