SAIC is seeking Cloud Engineer to support SAIC's Prime Program, Aretuza in Chantilly, VA. Aretuza is a SETA program, supporting the NRO's Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED).

Job Duties to include:

  • Provide Acquisition Support & SME as primary CPOC Lead to program manager(s) and manage development contracts - Cost/Schedule/Performance 
  • Develop, review, and refine RFPs, SOWs, SOOs, CLINs, ROMs, ECPs, and related acquisition artifacts.
  • Support industry engagement, vendor coordination, and technical transition activities for new and ongoing acquisitions.
  • Deliver technical COAs, spend‑plan inputs, and acquisition recommendations to government leadership.
  • Manage daily Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) with contractors and advocate for government priorities during COTR tag‑ups, PMRs, and BMRs.
  • Review and disposition RFCs, support assigned TIER actions, and coordinate RITM/CHG ticket activity.
  • Support multi‑tenant integration efforts, ensuring alignment across mission stakeholders and resolving cross‑team technical issues.
  • Provide Platform Cloud Operations expertise and maintain the TIER collection of future cloud‑environment requirements.
  • Serve as ALT ISSE for ATO8/program office assets, ensuring continuous GPMO coverage.
  • Participate in security review preparation and execution; ensure contractors and tenants adhere to security policies and procedures.
  • Review, verify, and recommend updates to O&S procedures, deployments, and mission‑support workflows.
  • Create and deliver cost, schedule, and technical briefings to government leadership.
  • Conduct detailed technical analysis supporting acquisition decisions, cloud‑environment planning, and mission‑system integration.
  • Facilitate issue resolution between ATO8 and partner teams, ensuring consistent communication and technical alignment.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience. Relevant experience to be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • CompTIA Security+ CE; AWS Certified Developer/Solutions Architect - Associate/Professional; and AWS Security Specialty
  • 7+ years of experience in IT and cloud development, supporting modern enterprise environments.
  • 4+ years of hands‑on AWS engineering experience within regulated or government environments.
  • Candidates must demonstrate proficiency with EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS/DynamoDB, VPC, and API Gateway.
  • Experience building and managing cloud infrastructure using CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • experienced with Python, Java, and .NET.
  • Capable of designing and supporting serverless and microservices‑based systems.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as CodePipeline and Jenkins.
  • Familiar with AWS data tools including Glue and Athena.
  • Understand IAM, KMS, and CloudWatch and have experience applying government security frameworks comparable to ISM/IRAP.
  • Demonstrate strong Agile collaboration, clear communication and documentation abilities, and effective analytical problem‑solving
Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
