SAIC is seeking a highly-qualified Cyber Security Manager to fulfill the role of Chief Cyber Security Engineer supporting the ABMS Digital Infrastructure Network Designer & Deployer program. This individual will serve as the technical authority and strategist for ensuring compliance and securing all aspects of the network architecture.
This role involves designing and implementing robust, scalable, and compliant cybersecurity solutions to protect sensitive data, defend against emerging threats, and ensure the integrity and availability of the network infrastructure. Responsibilities include integrating advanced security technologies into the network design, establishing strict policies for access control and data protection, and overseeing compliance with DoD, NIST, and other relevant cybersecurity frameworks.
Additionally, the Chief Cyber Security Engineer will act as a trusted advisor, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align security objectives with project goals, mentoring cybersecurity team members, and providing oversight of security testing, monitoring, and incident response processes to ensure a resilient and secure network deployment. This position is remote with up to 25% travel.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters Degree in Cyber Security, Cyber Engineering or related field + 8 years experience or Bachelors Degree in Cyber Security, Cyber Engineering or related field + 10 years experience.
- Demonstrated leadership in design and deployment projects, and the ability to foster collaboration across technical teams. U.S. citizenship and a current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Network &/or Security Operations Center experience and familiarity with the DoW's acquisition and test enterprise. Experience with carrier class networks, cloud infrastructure/operations and cross domain solutions.
- CISSP, CySA, CISM, & or CASP+ certifications.
