SAIC is seeking a dynamic and innovative Deputy Program Manager (DPM) to support our IT Service Management efforts for USTRANSCOM at Scott AFB, IL. The USTC Managed Information Technology Services (MITS) contract is designed to provide strategic, technical, and program management guidance, along with support services to facilitate operations and modernization of USTRANSCOM's infrastructure, systems, and applications. This support is extended to the USTC Command, Control, Communications & Cyber Systems Directorate (TCJ6).
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for adherence to all contract requirements, including financial and administrative controls, staffing, quality assurance, and technical deliverables.
- Collaborate with the program's project controller to plan, execute, and track financial tasks; coordinate with contracts, subcontracts, and procurement leads for material and service acquisitions.
- Assist the Program Manager in ensuring compliance with quality standards, timely product delivery, and contract adherence, addressing issues proactively.
- Direct efforts of complex, multi-disciplinary teams and methods across on-premises and remote locations, ensuring effective collaboration among SAIC, sponsor, and subcontractor teams.
- Serve as the alternate point of contact with the sponsor, engaging team resources as needed.
- Drive business growth and development of staff.
- Conduct regular briefings to leadership on program status, milestones, and progress.
- Develop procedures and direct the execution of contractual, technical, multi-disciplinary IT, engineering, programming, maintenance, and administrative activities.
- Oversee the acquisition and employment of resources, managing financial and administrative aspects.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in business or management-related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience, including 5 years in DoD contracting with management of IDIQ, FFP, CPFF programs, and leadership roles of increasing responsibility.
- Experience managing technical scope on contracts valued over $5M.
- Proven experience in managing DoD programs/teams of at least 50 FTEs.
- Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a secret security clearance.
- Active PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner certification.
- MA/MS degree.
- ITIL V4 Foundations certification (within 60 days), and one of the IAM Level III certifications (CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC).

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
