We are seeking a strategic and collaborative Director, Talent & Organizational Effectiveness (OE) practitioner to shape and deliver enterprise-wide solutions that elevate performance, culture, and capability. This role will lead key projects aligned to our Talent and Organizational Effectiveness strategies, including organizational design, workforce transformation, leader/team effectiveness, and employee listening.

As a key member of the Talent COE, you will partner with HRBPs and business leaders to translate organizational strategy into scalable solutions.  This is a great opportunity for a forward-thinking professional with Talent and OE/OD experience, who thrives in ambiguity and is passionate about building high-performing organizations.

Organizational Effectiveness:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to HR and business leaders on organizational effectiveness topics.
  • Design and implement organizational effectiveness solutions, including organizational design (e.g., org strategy, org structure, role and process clarity), capability building, and team development.
  • Facilitate organizational assessments, share key insights and develop actionable recommendations.

Workforce Transformation:

  • Support workforce transformation initiatives to align business, organizational and talent strategies with an emphasis on upskilling and reskilling.  Deliver a robust set of solutions that equip employees with relevant skills critical to driving SAIC's business performance and competitive advantage
  • Consult on dashboards and reporting tools to monitor workforce metrics and trends.

Talent Review & Succession Planning:

  • Support the design and execution of the organization's talent review process.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to assess talent, build bench strength, and create targeted development plans within the business groups and functions.
  • Analyze talent data to inform strategic decisions and improve talent outcomes.

Culture, Change Management & Transformation:

  • Develop and execute change management strategies for enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Build change plans that address both technical and cultural aspects of transformation.
  • Coach leaders and teams through change, ensuring adoption and sustainability.
  • Support organizational employee listening activities.
     

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Human Resources, ideally as a Talent/OE/OD practitioner.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Experience designing and implementing talent and org effectiveness solutions, tools, frameworks and driving user adoption.
  • Strong facilitation, storytelling, and executive communication skills.
  • Analytical and systems-thinking mindset with the ability to translate insights into tools and action.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects and collaborate effectively.

Preferred:

  • Master's degree or PhD in IO Psychology, Organizational Development, or related field.
  • Experience with org design, team effectiveness, and/or workforce planning methodologies.
  • Exposure to employee listening or engagement strategies (e.g., survey platforms, analysis, insights).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed, and highly collaborative environment.

Target salary range: $200,001 - $240,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
