SAIC is seeking a skilled and experienced External Stakeholder Coordinator to serve as the primary liaison between our program team and external organizations at a customer site in Arlington,VA. In this critical role, you will ensure seamless communication, coordination, and support in managing external requirements, fostering collaboration, and driving project success. The ideal candidate will have a strong consulting background, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex relationships to effectively support program and client objectives.
The External Stakeholder Coordinator will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external communication and coordination with stakeholders.
- Support client meetings by organizing agendas, capturing detailed meeting notes, and tracking follow-ups to closure.
- Ensure all external requirements and dependencies are identified, managed, and monitored effectively.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with external stakeholders to foster trust and alignment.
- Engage regularly with external organizations on program initiatives, ensuring alignment on objectives, priorities, and deliverables.
- Anticipate challenges related to external dependencies and address them proactively.
- Facilitate client meetings by capturing, documenting, and following up on action items and requirements.
- Ensure meeting outcomes and critical updates are effectively communicated to program leadership.
- Assist with the preparation of status updates and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Track and mitigate risks associated with external dependencies, escalating issues as needed to prevent project delays.
- Coordinate resolution of external challenges in close collaboration with internal teams to maintain program schedules and deliverables.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure external dependencies and requirements are integrated into overall project plans and timelines.
- Act as a conduit between the internal program team and external partners to avoid miscommunication and drive alignment.
Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree and ten (10) years' experience; additional four (4) years' experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
Required Clearance:
- Must possess an active Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain; US Citizenship required.
Required Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex issues into actionable insights.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and relationships in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional meeting facilitation, documentation, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to proactively engage and manage relationships with high-profile stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Must be able to work on-site at the Pentagon a minimum of 3 days a week.
Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
