Description
Description
SAIC is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Fleet Engagement and Integration Lead to support the delivery of advanced information warfare capabilities to our Naval, Joint, and Coalition warfighters. In this role, you'll contribute to Naval Operational Architecture (NOA), working alongside engineers and operators to deliver resilient, forward-leaning solutions in support of national defense. This role contributes to operational training and exercise support to ensure shipboard and command staffs are trained and ready to employ emerging capabilities in support of Project objectives. The candidate will leverage engineering knowledge to support Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) operations across Fleet Experimentation (FLEX), Fleet Reps and Sets, Joint Forces, and lab and operational demonstrations. The role supports cross-functional teams to integrate emerging technologies at U.S. Navy Maritime Operations Centers (MOCs), aboard naval vessels, and across other naval commands, while enhancing coordination across NAVWAR program offices, Fleet elements, and Joint Forces. The candidate will also coordinate with existing Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) teams to enable holistic naval models that inform future network architecture design with Naval and Joint Forces.
THIS ROLE IS LOCATED ON-SITE IN SAN DIEGO, CA AND WILL REQUIRE UP TO 25% OF TRAVEL (CONUS/OCONUS)
JOB DUTIES:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute operational training and exercise support efforts to ensure shipboard and command staffs are trained, proficient, and ready to employ fielded and emerging capabilities in support of Project objectives.
- Support Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) operations across Fleet Experimentation (FLEX), Fleet Reps and Sets, Joint Forces, and lab/operational demonstrations, ensuring events are properly scoped, resourced, and aligned to operational outcomes.
