SAIC is seeking a Future Concepts Developer located in Pearl City, Hawaii to support USINDOPACOM to develop strategic and operational concepts for a 4-star staff.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Conduct in-depth research on military strategies, doctrines, and emerging trends to gather relevant information for concept development.
Analyze and synthesize complex data to create well-informed and effective military concepts tailored to USINDOPACOM's mission.
Produce high-quality written materials, including concept papers, reports, presentations, and proposals, that clearly communicate complex military concepts to internal and external stakeholders.
Review and edit written materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency. Incorporate feedback from senior leaders and team members to continuously improve the quality of deliverables.
Engage with senior leaders and stakeholders to understand their specific needs and objectives. Present and explain military concepts in a clear and persuasive manner, addressing questions and concerns effectively.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors and ten (10)+ years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
Proven experience in military concept development, strategic planning, or a similar role within the military or defense industry.
Exceptional research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear and actionable concepts.
Proficiency in using research tools, databases, and software applications to support concept development.
In-depth understanding of military doctrines, strategies, and geopolitical trends, with the ability to apply this knowledge to concept development.
Experience working within a 4-star staff environment is highly preferred.
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
Must have an active Secret clearance with ability to obtain a TSSCI.
Must be a current US Citizen.
