SAIC is offering Summer 2026 internship opportunities for college students committed to a major in business, analytics, or related fields. These internships provide hands-on experience in business intelligence, data analysis, and process improvement, particularly in IT environments. Positions include mentorship, structured training, and exposure to leadership-focused projects, preparing interns for entry-level roles in business intelligence and data-driven decision-making.

This is a paid internship opportunity.

Business Intelligence Analyst Intern responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Support the collection, analysis, and visualization of business data to drive insights and improve decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with the team to design and implement dashboards, reports, and data-driven solutions.
• Assist in analyzing and improving business processes by leveraging BI tools and methodologies.
• Utilize and maintain data acquisition, transformation, and reporting systems within an IT environment.
• Assist in the development and improvement of Change Management processes to enhance efficiency and ensure seamless adoption of data-driven tools.
   

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree and a strong record of academic achievement with anticipated graduation in May of 2027.
• Based on Federal Law, you must be a US citizen and have the ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Reside in Richmond, VA area while in the internship program

Desired Qualifications:

• Practical experience or coursework in data analytics, business intelligence, or related fields.
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or SQL to build reports and dashboards.
• Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to work with large data sets and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to present findings and insights effectively.
• Capability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to various phases of data modeling, reporting, and process improvement.
• A keen interest in using data to solve business challenges and enhance decision-making processes.
