SAIC is seeking an experienced Joint Lessons Learned Analyst to provide program support to the Training and Analysis Branch of United States US Pacific Command (US PACOM) J7.
Position is located on Camp H.M. Smith, HI.
NOTE: May be required to travel throughout the US Pacific region
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Facilitate the observation and evaluation of exercise and real-world lessons learned for USINDOPACOM and its subordinate battle staffs
- US PACOM Analyst for the Joint Lessons Learned Information System (JLLIS). This requires training and working with appropriate headquarters staff members to document lessons learned, and ensuring inputs to JLLIS are structured and relevant
- Attend USINDOPACOM battle rhythm events as required and represent J751 equities in these events.
- Required at times to deliver briefs regarding lessons learned
- Assist with the filing of reports and maintenance of lessons-learned and exercise summary report databases using the various systems of record used by US PACOM
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors and ten (10) years of work experience; four (4) additional years of work experience in lieu of degree
- Mid-level to Senior Officer experience
- Must be able to absorb, refine and articulate policy, plans, procedures, actions, and milestones necessary for efficient conduct of the position
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) to support data synthesis, report writing, and presentation development
- Knowledge of the Joint Training System
REQUIRED CLEARANCES:
- Must have an active Secret clearance with ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
