SAIC is actively seeking a JROTC Website and Social Media Content Creator in Fort Knox, KY to support the U.S. Army. This role requires a creative, detail-oriented content creator for websites and social media to develop and implement engaging content across various digital platforms. These include a website and social media channels. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing content. The goal is to attract and engage the target audience, increase traffic, and enhance the JROTC Program's online presence. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging content (texts, images, videos, infographics, etc.) for the JROTC website, blog, and various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X).

  • Manage and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent output and timely delivery of content across all channels.

  • Research industry trends, audience preferences, and competitor activity to guide content strategy and produce new ideas.

  • Optimize content for search engines through keyword research, meta tags, and other strategies to boost visibility and organic traffic.

  • Work with USACC Webmaster, PAO, and JROTC Directorate sections to ensure content matches USACC Communications Plan goals, brand voice, and visual guidelines.

  • Monitor content performance with analytics tools, analyze key metrics (e.g., engagement rates, website traffic, conversions), and use insights to improve content strategy.

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience; four (4) years of experience are accepted in lieu of a degree.

Required Clearance:

  • An Interim Secret Clearance is required to begin employment; a Secret Security Clearance is required to maintain employment.

Required Qualifications:

  • A portfolio displaying different content formats and illustrating successful content creation campaigns. 
  • Experience with Department of Defense website regulations, including Access for People with Disabilities-Section 508, Freedom of Information Act, Privacy Regulations, E-Government Act of 2002, Information Quality, Security Protocols to Protect Information, DoD Directive 5230.9, DoD Instruction 5230.9, and US Army branding    standards.
  • Excellent at writing, editing, and proofreading, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and engaging content.
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong creative skills, including visual storytelling and graphic design (Proficiency with tools like Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro) for producing short-form videos and other video content.
  • Basic proficiency in Web Content Management Systems such as WordPress and applying simple HTML formatting.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, including Search Engine Optimization, best practices and content optimization.
  • Experience with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to monitor content performance and guide strategy.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, able to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
