SAIC currently has an opening for a NAVWAR Subject Matter Expert (SME). This position will sit in Huntsville, Alabama.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting the customer in developing schedules and agendas for meetings
- Coordinating specific working groups and conduct analysis to refine requirements for areas such as: assessments of current / future NAVWAR systems; Concept of the Operation (CONOPS); Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs); D
- Development of emerging materiel solutions; synchronization of Army and Joint-service operational assessments; rapid fielding initiatives and technology transitions.
- The candidate will also participate in capability studies such as Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs) to review system capabilities and mission development and ensure traceability between the AoA's Measures of Effectiveness, Measures of Performance and Measures of Cost (MOEs/MOPs/MOCs).
Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelors and fifteen (15) years or more of related experience; Masters and thirteen (13) years or more experience; PhD or JD and ten (10) years or more experience; four (4) years of experience considered in lieu of degree.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge and expertise of Development, coordination and staffing of appropriate ACIDS/JCIDS documentation such as: Development Documents (CDDs), Abbreviated - CDDs, Capability
- Production Documents (CPDs), and any other required supporting analysis and documentation.
- Strong experience in Electronic Warfare operations.
- Understanding of GPS satellite / architecture signatures, GPS jamming, jamming scenario analysis, Anti-Jam development, integration and test.
- Understanding of Electromagnetic Support requirements to sense and understand the electromagnetic operating environment.
Clearance:
- Candidate must possess an active TS/SCI clearance.
