SAIC is seeking an Opportunity Manager to support the Opportunity Management team by resolving key operational choke points across quoting, lead generation, data management, Salesforce oversight, and cross-functional coordination. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, process-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced business development environment. This position is 100% remote(work from home).
The Opportunity Manager will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Manage all WindRiver quotes from start to finish, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Oversee all JRE quotes from start to finish, coordinating across simultaneous quoting projects.
- Handle all renewals end-to-end, including tracking, follow-up, and timely completion to reduce revenue leakage.
- Scrape and review IFSRs daily to identify COS leads and escalate to BG POCs for decision-making, copying appropriate leadership on each communication.
- Monitor deal drip emails from GovWin and other sources for COS/SOAR leads and route them to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Partner with BD leads to maintain data fidelity and ensure seamless collaboration and customer insights.
- Maintain and verify updated data in Salesforce to support accurate reporting and decision-making.
- Conduct regular Salesforce cleanups to ensure data accuracy and currency, as directed by team leads.
- Drive weekly follow-ups with commercial associates on BG CRs, taking action on unsubmitted deals and updating Salesforce accordingly.
- Monitor and manage opportunity stage alignment (ID/Track, Pursuit, Capture) in Salesforce, ensuring SFOppts stages reflect current capture status.
- Coordinate and schedule Program Manager one-on-one calls, managing calendars and resolving scheduling conflicts.
- Set up and facilitate demos of STG/COS capabilities for key meetings, ensuring portfolio-side engagement and proper preparation.
Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree and zero (0) years' experience; additional four (4) years' experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
Required Clearance:
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret security clearance; US Citizenship required.
Required Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM, including data entry, cleanup, and reporting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder coordination and escalation
- Ability to work independently and take initiative on daily recurring tasks
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with GovWin or similar government contracting opportunity platforms
- Experience with quoting processes in a government or technology sales environment
- Understanding of business development pipeline stages (ID/Track, Pursuit, Capture)
- Experience with scheduling tools and workflow automation
