We are seeking a highly motivated Requirements and Integration Engineer to join the MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (MSEIT) team supporting the U.S. Space Force's Space Systems Command (SSC).
Our team provides advanced Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) support to the Space Force's acquisition of next-generation satellite communications (SATCOM) systems, which deliver secure, resilient, and global communications to our nation's warfighters. In this role, you will work within a fast-paced, collaborative environment to develop, manage, and validate system requirements and integrate space and ground segments across multiple stakeholders and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Apply Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) to support the development of technical baselines
- Generate requirements that translates stakeholder needs and expectations into a clear, concise, and verifiable set of specifications for a systemAnalyze system requirements that define the technical baseline and verification of the technical baseline (TRDs and ICDs)
- Work with Government and contractor personnel to close gaps in flow of customer requirements decomposition from system and component levels with the ability to use DOORs
- Lead and supporting Government/Contractor Working Group meetings—create briefings, leading discussion, and writing minutes—to resolve risks, requirement gaps, and action items
- Develop and maintain proposed changes to the technical baseline for impacts to enterprise capabilities and to cross-stakeholder integration concerns
- Facilitate review of program documents by providing comments, compiling other reviewer comments, and working with contractors to adjudicate the comments.
- Serve as a subject matter expert to assess technical issues and to prepare briefings to U.S. Space Force management
- Support management of risks, issues, interdependence, identifying schedule disconnects and conflicts, developing action plans for resolution, and assisting the Government in executing selected solutions
Qualifications
· Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance
· BS degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, or network and telecommunications Min 9 years of overall experience
· 4+ years with system specification, verification, or analysis
· Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and tools used to support requirements development and traceability
· Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
· Organization capability with ability to handle competing priorities
· Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate ideas, recommendations and options to customers, senior leaders, and stakeholders
· Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Desire Skills and Experience
· MS degree in one of the following technical disciplines: engineering, physics, chemistry, mathematics, computer science
· Certifications in Systems Engineering (INCOSE ESEP, CSEP)
· Certifications in MBSE (OCSMP)
· Certifications in Agile Development
· Knowledge and experience in Jira and Confluence
· Experience with MILSATCOM, such as AEHF, EPS, WGS, and Tactical SATCOM or COMSATCOM
· Experience working with military or DoD civilian clients
· Experience with space and ground systems, such as satellite communication, ground terminals and DoD network simpacts to enterprise capabilities and to cross-stakeholder integration concerns
Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
