SAIC is seeking a skilled and motivated Program Analyst to support NASA customers and contractor teams. This role requires experience with government processes related to aircraft record keeping, inventory management, and schedule oversight. The selected candidate will collaborate directly with government customers and contract personnel to ensure flight safety and mission readiness.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a liaison between the programming team and user community, including conducting demonstrations, user training, collecting feedback, and recommending system improvements.
  • Provide Help Desk support to users of NAMIS applications, offering administrative assistance and training when needed.
  • Perform schedule-based and metrics-based analysis to generate insights that support both program-level and project-level decision‑making.
  • Test new application releases to validate customer requirements and verify proper database functionality.
  • Prepare and deliver status reports, schedules, and related documentation to keep customers informed of all program activities.

Qualifications

Required Education: 

  • Bachelors and eighteen (18) years or more of related experience; Masters and sixteen (16) years or more experience; PhD or JD and thirteen (13) years or more experience.

 

Required Experience:

  • Hands-on experience in aircraft recordkeeping, program/data analysis, and logistics management.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze aircraft data from diverse sources in support of safety and airworthiness requirements.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret program data and produce actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve challenges in a dynamic environment.

 

Desired Experience:

  • Familiarity with aircraft recordkeeping software used by the DoD or other government agencies in support of aircraft maintenance, logistics, or flight operations.
  • Knowledge and experience working with NAMIS applications, especially the Logistics and Maintenance applications.


Clearance:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
