Make a difference for national security by joining a team of dedicated IT professionals who will sustain, modernize and transform the enterprise IT capabilities for the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA).  The Air Force and Combatant Commands Business Group of SAIC is seeking a Lead Security Analyst to support a transformational infrastructure program for DCSA.

SAIC is proud to be supporting DCSA in safeguarding our nation's information. DCSA is the designated oversight authority on the accreditation of classified facilities, information systems, and the insider threat program. This involves security oversight of more than 10,000 companies and approximately 13,000 facilities involved in classified work throughout the DoD and 31 Federal agencies.

Specifically, on the DCSA One IT program, SAIC will provide an enterprise IT solution that delivers highly secured and adaptable IT infrastructure, provides customer support, and cutting-edge technologies that support operations and advance the DCSA mission under a single IT environment (i.e., One IT).

Job Description

The Task Order Lead Security Analyst serves as the daily point of contact, accountable and responsible for executing security activities across all areas of the task order. This critical role interfaces with both contractor and government teams to implement security practices that aligns with SAIC and government policies and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Program Security Management: Execute and manage a comprehensive security program in accordance with SAIC and government policies.
  • Corporate Security Interaction: Manage all contract security interactions with SAIC corporate security, particularly concerning DOD clearances, in collaboration with the corporate Facility Security Officer (FSO) team assigned to the contract.
  • New Hire Clearances: Process security clearances for new hires under the DCSA ONE IT program, ensuring all personnel meet the necessary security requirements.
  • Personnel Assistance: Provide support to personnel regarding all security-related matters, ensuring compliance and understanding of security protocols.
  • Security Database Maintenance: Maintain and update resource-specific information in the security database, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Onboarding and Offboarding: Create and submit onboarding and offboarding packages that adhere to detailed agency processes within the ServiceNow ticket system.
  • Access Management: Process requests for Common Access Card (CAC) and building/site access, and manage accounts for JWICS, NIPR, SIPR, and unclassified emails.
  • VAR Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of program-specific Visit Access Requests (VAR).
  • Incident Handling and Reporting: Track and report all contract-level security concerns, incidents, and violations in coordination with program management and the DCSA customer.
  • Team Collaboration: Engage in effective teamwork within the Business Operations team, fostering a collaborative environment that ensures seamless integration of security protocols across the organization. Work closely with colleagues to share knowledge, solve problems, and achieve common goals.

     

This role requires an exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both external and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be proactive, thorough, and possess a solid understanding of government security requirements. Additionally, the candidate should have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment to drive success.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

It is required that the Lead Security Analyst have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a relevant field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 to14 years of experience in security management or a related field.
  • Alternatively, candidates with 14+ years of relevant professional experience in security management of a related field may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Must possess a Top Secret (TS) security clearance and be eligible for Sensitive Compartmented Information Access (SCI) access.

Desired Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
