SAIC has an immediate need for a Senior Software Systems Engineer.

This is a hybrid position with onsite support at our Chantilly, VA locations. 

Job Description:

• Hands‑on experience with RESTful service development and modernization of legacy services.

• Experience configuring and managing Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, preferably in Azure environments.

• Experience with identity management and SSO solutions (e.g., OAuth2/OIDC, SAML, Azure AD).

• Demonstrated ability to operate across the full SDLC in a team environment.

• Experience integrating with government systems or multi‑agency environments.

• Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code, containerization, or Kubernetes in Azure.

• Familiarity with data pipelines and ETL/ELT tooling.

Qualifications

Required Education: 

• BS and fourteen (14) years or more experience; four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree

• Languages: HTML, Java, JavaScript, Perl, XML, Shell scripting
• Operating Systems: Linux, Windows 
• Methodologies: Agile, SDLC
• Web/Application Servers: Apache HTTP Server, Apache Tomcat, BEA WebLogic
• Technologies: CSS, HTML, J2EE, JDBC, JSF 2.1.x, JSP, JSTL, LDAP, ODBC, EJB, Spring 4.x, Struts, Hibernate 4.x, WebServices, Hadoop
• Databases: Oracle 11g, MySQL, PostgreSQL
• Tools: Apache Ant, Gradle, Maven, Ansible, Eclipse 

Required Clearance:

• Active Secret Security Clearance

Target salary range: $180,001 - $220,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
