SAIC is looking for a SLA and Compliance Lead to support the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) under the newly awarded Information Security Services (ISS) contract, providing innovative solutions to strengthen and safeguard the nation's banking system. This position is expected to by hybrid remote and will require on-site work in Arlington, VA.

SLA Monitoring and Reporting: 

  • Serve as the primary focal point for ensuring SLA compliance across all towers. 

  • Monitor service performance metrics, ensuring all targets align with contractual requirements and FDIC expectations. 

  • Develop detailed SLA performance reports, including trends, root cause analyses, and corrective action plans for underperforming metrics. 

Compliance Oversight: 

  • Act as the compliance lead to ensure FDIC policies, procedures, and associated updates are implemented, tracked, and managed across the organization. 

  • Enforce compliance with FDIC ITSM governance standards and foster consistent delivery of services across all operations. 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure laws, regulations, and federal policies are fully integrated into CFS service delivery. 

Cross-Functional Coordination: 

  • Coordinate with ITSM leads, process owners, and stakeholders across functional towers to monitor and address compliance and SLA-related issues. 

  • Foster alignment between compliance objectives and the broader quality management plan for FDIC. 

  • Provide guidance and expertise to cross-functional teams to promote consistent adherence to ITIL 4-aligned processes. 

Audit and Governance Support: 

  • Oversee audits and reviews of SLA performance, compliance processes, and related documentation. 

  • Deliver compliance, quality, and SLA updates to FDIC leadership in regular briefings and support audits as required. 

  • Partner with the Service Delivery team to manage escalations, risk assessments, and performance issue resolution. 

Continuous Improvement and Innovation: 

  • Evaluate emerging tools and practices to enhance SLA tracking, performance management, and compliance enforcement. 

  • Recommend improvements to compliance and SLA governance frameworks to achieve better service outcomes. 

  • Initiate corrective actions and proactive strategies to prevent future SLA breaches or compliance deviations. 

Documentation and Policy Management: 

  • Support the development and refinement of CFS Policies and Procedures Manuals, ensuring compliance needs are documented and accessible. 

  • Manage SLA agreements, maintaining accuracy in service catalogs and providing updates as part of a dynamic service improvement plan. 

Qualifications

Required Qualification: 

  • Bachelors and nine (9) years or more relevant experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more relevant experience, additional experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience overseeing compliance activities, SLA performance management, or IT service management (ITSM) within a federal or highly regulated enterprise. 

  • Expertise in SLA performance monitoring and reporting within ITIL 4-aligned environments. 

  • Solid background in developing, managing, and reviewing compliance programs for federal or enterprise-level organizations. 

  • Hands-on experience using ITSM tools, such as ServiceNow, for SLA tracking and operational governance. 

  • Strong analytical skills to assess performance data and recommend actionable strategies. 

  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills for coordinating multiple compliance processes efficiently. 

  • Ability to communicate effectively across cross-functional teams and leadership. 

  • Ability to obtain and maintain an FDIC Public Trust  

  • Ability to successfully pass the SAIC Background investigation to establish a start date 

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certification in ITIL 4 Foundation (or higher). 

  • Demonstrated familiarity with federal compliance frameworks and risk management practices. 

  • Experience creating performance dashboards or metrics-driven service improvement plans.
