SAIC is seeking a visionary and results-driven leader with a proven history of delivering transformative growth through the successful capture of high-value, complex government contracts. The ideal candidate will have a robust track record of leading and winning single-award pursuits valued at $750M+ annually and driving strategic pipelines that culminate in submitted opportunities exceeding $1.5B in value each year. This leadership position requires extensive expertise across diverse acquisition strategies, including Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)-based procurements, Assisted Acquisitions, Other Transaction Authority (OTA), and innovative commercial acquisition models. The Vice President of Capture Management will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing winning strategies for SAIC's most strategic opportunities, driving long-term growth and market leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Capture Vision and Execution: Spearhead the full lifecycle of capture for high-profile and complex enterprise-scale opportunities in alignment with SAIC's growth strategy, delivering measurable growth outcomes.
Strategic Market Differentiation: Develop comprehensive and innovative capture strategies that position SAIC as the partner of choice in competitive landscapes, leveraging differentiated offerings to meet evolving customer missions.
Executive-Level Collaboration: Direct cross-functional teams of senior stakeholders, including proposal managers, solution architects, pricing strategists, and subject matter experts (SMEs), ensuring a unified approach to achieving strategic goals.
Customer-Centric Engagement: Cultivate and maintain influential relationships with government leaders and industry partners at the executive level to shape requirements, anticipate procurement trends, and align SAIC's offerings with mission-critical needs.
In-Depth Competitive Positioning: Leverage detailed market intelligence and competitor analysis to identify SAIC's unique value propositions and position the company for sustained competitive advantage in key pursuits.
Operational Excellence in Capture: Design and implement enterprise-level win strategies and capture management plans utilizing SAIC's methodologies, tools, and lessons learned from past successes to maximize win probability.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or a related field and 18 years' experience.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in capture management with an organization focused on large, US government prime contracts
- Demonstrated success in leading enterprise captures with values exceeding $750M+, particularly in areas such as IT modernization, digital transformation, AI/ML solutions, cloud services, cyber, and advanced engineering services.
- Deep understanding of federal acquisition processes, contract vehicles, and procurement trends (e.g., GWACs, ID/IQs, BPAs, OTAs, CSOs).
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive-level presentation skills.
- Strong leadership and team-building capabilities, with the ability to guide large, matrixed teams across multiple disciplines.
- Ability to obtain and maintain relevant security clearance, if required.
Preferred Qualifications: - Extensive experience with DoW, Civilian, and/or Intelligence Community (IC) customers.
- Proven track record of capturing and winning single-award, enterprise-level, full-and-open competitive contracts.
- Experience winning new business with government customers through commercial acquisition models.
- Expertise in leveraging digital tools, data analytics, and CRM systems for capture management.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, APMP, or equivalent.
