SalonCentric Canada – MasterData Analyst
As the MasterData analyst for Quebec, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring data quality and integrity, enabling insightful decision-making for the business. Reporting to the MasterData manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams across Canada.
Here's what your day-to-day will look like:
Master Data Management & Integrity:
- Create, update and maintain master data records with meticulous attention to detail adhering strictly to established data governance policies and procedures.
- Oversee product, vendor and customer data within systems like Ogasys, ensuring its accuracy, consistency and completeness.
Data Quality Assurance:
- Perform rigorous data cleansing and validation activities to maintain internal data standards.
- Implement and maintain proactive quality controls to safeguard data standards and integrity.
Data Governance & Compliance:
- Strictly adhere to data governance frameworks and guidelines, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations and internal data standards.
- Contribute to standardizing data to provide a unified view across various systems, reducing errors and redundancies.
Strategic Data Enablement & Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize master data management processes and systems, driving greater efficiency.
- Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing and Customer Support to gather data requirements and proactively resolve data-related issues.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of data management processes, procedures and standards to support effective data utilization across the organization.
Data Analysis (as needed):
- Analyze master data to identify trends, patterns and anomalies, providing insights to support decision-making and continuous process improvements.
We are looking for :
- Proven proficiency in managing and maintaining master data records, including data entry, cleansing and validation.
- Demonstrated expertise with Ogasys CRM is essential.
- Strong attention to detail with an unwavering commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify, diagnose and resolve complex data-related issues.
- Effective communication skills, capable of collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional teams and producing clear, concise documentation.
- Solid knowledge of data governance principles, data privacy regulations and industry best practices.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. Ogasys) and other data management tools, along with proficiency in SQL or Excel
- A proactive approach to identifying process inefficiencies and proposing innovative solutions for optimization.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English (collaborating with other provinces is key).
