Diesel Mechanic – Day Shift Williston, ND | $35-$45/hour BOE | Monday–Friday Looking for steady day-shift work, competitive pay, and a newer fleet? Our equipment is used to transport crude oil, pipe, and other products throughout our operations. Your day-to-day work will include Performing scheduled preventive maintenance on tractors, trailers, and related equipment Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical issues Repairing suspensions, rear ends, transmissions, air brake systems, and related components Performing minor engine repairs, including injectors, turbos, and similar components Using computer-based diagnostic systems to identify and troubleshoot problems Visually inspecting equipment and identifying needed repairs before they become larger issues Maintaining accurate maintenance and repair records Working closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and operations team to keep equipment running safely and efficiently Completing additional shop and maintenance duties as needed What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can diagnose problems without being handed every answer, and understands the importance of keeping a working fleet on the road. A strong candidate will have 2–3+ years of semi-truck or fleet diesel mechanic experience Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing heavy-duty trucks Experience with suspensions, transmissions, rear ends, air brakes, and minor engine repairs Experience using computer-based diagnostic systems Ability to independently identify and diagnose mechanical problems Strong commitment to safe work practices Ability to communicate effectively with other mechanics, drivers, supervisors, and operations personnel Ability to understand written and verbal safety procedures, operational instructions, policies, and applicable regulations Class A CDL is a plus, but not required Aluminum welding experience is a plus Physical Requirements This is a hands-on diesel mechanic position. Team Members must be able to: Frequently lift and handle parts and equipment weighing up to 80 lbs. Safely climb on and off trucks, trailers, and equipment Bend, kneel, crawl, reach, and work in different positions while completing repairs Perform physically demanding maintenance and repair work throughout the shift Ready to Put Your Diesel Experience to Work?
