The Basics: Location: Midvale, UT Days/Hours: Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.   Our Internal Audit Intern will assist the Internal Audit team in the execution of financial and operational audits, and other projects at locations across various company operations. This internship will take place in Summer 2026 and will be based in our Corporate office in Midvale, UT.    Why being a Savage Intern is Compelling: Interns have long-term career potential with possible future opportunities throughout Savage Interns are competitively paid Interns experience being a part of real-world business solutions The opportunity to work with a company founded on principles of honesty, integrity, and team member growth Career paths open to consistent development and growth   Responsibilities / Job Duties: Assist in the planning of assigned projects Obtain audit evidence, and complete audit testing and documentation on time and in accordance with Audit Methodology and professional standards Communicate with the Internal Audit team, business group management, and corporate management regarding the results of audit projects Provide updates to the Audit Project Lead and Senior Director of Internal Audit regarding the status of assigned projects   Qualifications: Excellent computer skills (MS Office suite, including Excel, Access, and some PowerPoint) Ability to pass security screening to enter customer property Professional work ethic Self-motivated and a team player with a “can-do” attitude Some travel may be required (all travel expenses will be reimbursed, and interns/Team Members may retain frequent flier miles)    Education: Currently in Junior or Senior year of a Bachelor's Degree Program in Accounting. Must have completed an intermediate auditing course and have a firm understanding of internal controls and control environment concepts.
