Uniform Services Time Off (USTO) Uniform Services Differential Pay A culture that appreciates Team Members What you'll be doing: Practice and abide by site-specific and company safety procedures and rules Must understand and implement the Savage Maintenance Program Perform a pre/post shift equipment inspections Maintain and report spare parts inventory Properly record and complete maintenance reports and service records Repair and maintain pumps, motors, hydraulics, mobile and plant specific equipment Maintain good relations and open communication with coworkers and management via radio and other proper means Maintain a clean work environment by removing trash and debris from all areas of responsibility including structures, offices, restrooms, break rooms, vehicles, etc. Complete PM services on plant and process equipment Knowledge of rigging Must be willing to perform any other special tasks assigned by management Requirements to be successful: Experience with repairing and maintaining bridge cranes and coke cutting equipment At least 3-5+ years of experience with heavy equipment maintenance and repair. Knowledge and working experience with different types of welding and cutting. Must be able to periodically work at heights of up to but not limited to 150'. Practices and understands time management, is a self-starter with a positive outlook. Must have a strong mechanical background. Refinery or Industrial Plant Operations: experience with high safety standards and regulations associated with hazardous industrial plant environments. Experience with hydraulic operated hoist and drilling equipment Preferred Qualifications: Boiler maker skills a plus Knowledge of SAP {CMMS) Experience with automated equipment and basic computers are a plus. Additional experience operating back hoe, front end loader, dozer, or other heavy equipment is a plus. Some physical requirements and working conditions: Ability to work outside in any weather condition Must be willing to work a rotating schedule Work in an environment containing coal dust, hazardous noise, confined space, and in hot or cold environments Work at heights, climbing stairs, and climbing ladders Walk on uneven ground and up to 3 miles per shift Must have ability to wear required PPR Must be able to pass a fit test and pulmonary function test for the purposes of wearing a respirator and recertify annually or as needed Lift up to 50 pounds frequently Must be able to periodically work at heights of up to but not limited to 150'
