Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Construction Manager with a strong background in industrial projects to lead projects from pre-construction through commissioning and closeout. This role is responsible for managing safety, schedule, cost, quality, and subcontractor performance on industrial facilities such as manufacturing plants, processing facilities, power, energy, and heavy industrial infrastructure. The ideal candidate has hands-on field experience, a deep understanding of industrial construction methods, and a proven ability to deliver projects in high-risk, safety-critical environments. Uniform Services Time Off (USTO) Uniform Services Differential Pay A culture that appreciates Team Members   What you'll be doing: Project & Construction Leadership Manage all phases of industrial construction projects, including planning, execution, commissioning, and closeout Develop detailed project execution plans, schedules, and manpower forecasts Coordinate construction activities with operations, engineering, and commissioning teams Ensure constructability, sequencing, and productivity optimization Industrial Field Operations Oversee on-site construction activities involving structural steel, concrete, piping, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation scopes Coordinate subcontractors, craft labor, vendors, inspectors, and commissioning personnel Lead daily toolbox talks, site coordination meetings, and progress reviews Ensure work is executed per IFC drawings, specifications, and industry standards Safety, Quality & Compliance Champion a strong safety culture and enforce OSHA, MSHA (if applicable), and client-specific safety requirements Conduct job hazard analyses (JHAs), safety audits, and incident investigations Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (API, ASME, AISC, NEC, NFPA, etc.) Implement and enforce quality control and inspection processes Cost, Schedule & Risk Management Develop and manage project budgets, cost reports, and forecasts Review and approve change orders, time-and-materials work, and subcontractor invoices Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans Track productivity and implement corrective actions as needed Client & Stakeholder Coordination Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, engineers, and client representatives Lead progress meetings and provide accurate reporting on schedule, cost, and safety performance Resolve field issues, design conflicts, and scope changes in collaboration with engineering teams   Requirements to be successful in this position: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent industrial construction experience) 10+ years of experience managing industrial construction projects Strong knowledge of industrial construction methods, sequencing, and work packaging Demonstrated experience managing multi-discipline scopes (civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, I&E) Proficiency in project controls, scheduling, and cost management Must be able to pass a drug test, background check, and physical. Ability to obtain TWIC, BOP(s) as required Participate in company safety program and to contribute to Savage's culture of Safety Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English Preferred Experience in manufacturing, energy, power, oil & gas, or heavy industrial facilities PMP, CCM, or similar professional certification Experience with EPC or EPCM project delivery models Familiar with industrial construction software (Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, Bluebeam, etc.)   Here are some of the physical requirements for this role: Primarily on industrial job sites with exposure to heavy equipment and active operations Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and shutdowns as required Ability to travel and work in varied weather and site conditions
