A culture that appreciates Team Members Built-in Overtime Quarterly Tool Allowance What You'll Do Safely inspect, repair, mount, and replace tires in accordance with the Savage Tire Manual Perform tire and maintenance service work in the shop, yard, field, and on roadside calls Monitor tire condition and equipment needs to support preventative maintenance efforts Help maintain compliance with Savage standards and DOT regulations Assist with inventory management, maintenance records, asset tracking, and reporting Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Collaborate professionally with operations and maintenance team members Perform other duties as assigned by maintenance and operations leadership Qualifications Knowledge of tire maintenance practices, DOT requirements, and maintenance recordkeeping Ability to identify equipment service needs and prioritize maintenance activities Experience working on equipment in demanding operating environments preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Reliable attendance and ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to recognize limitations and seek assistance when needed One year of tire technician experience preferred Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to lift and handle heavy parts, climb on and off equipment, and perform physically demanding work Class A CDL preferred but not required Here are some of the physical requirements for this role: Will be on your feet for an extended period throughout the day Will regularly lift, walk, stand, climb, crouch, and utilize equipment and tools throughout the shift. Navigating the facility will include, but is not limited to, exposure to harsh weather conditions, uneven ground, ladders, racks, other high places, ground that can be slick, icy, or uneven, and other industrial hazards The work site is an industrial setting and will require someone who can work safely in this type of environment Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
