The ideal candidate will ensure that daily assigned activities are completed in a timely and accurate manner, communicate with customers and team members, and coordinate yard movements with inbound/outbound trucks.  What you'll be doing: Coordinate deliveries and related trucking activities Share responsibility for the safety of team members in all aspects of the operation Create and maintain logistic programs to meet customer demand and contract needs by efficiently utilizing equipment and available team members. Monitor real-time conditions and customers' needs through constant communication with customer personnel, Operations Manager, and data observed from trucks' on-board data collection devices Review relevant transportation paperwork and accurately record the data in the designated information system Ensure all work is performed in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices Assist with hiring, training, and ongoing improvement of the team's skills Working with the Operations Manager in managing and reporting key metrics to enhance customer satisfaction, revenue, and managing expenses Maintain dependability and professionalism in a fast-paced environment What you'll need to be successful: Strong leadership skills and attributes Class A CDL is preferred with doubles/triples endorsement.  Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, and customer service Can work independently with minimal supervision Positive and collaborative team member Strong knowledge and experience in computers, including Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word) Experience in analyzing and interpreting data with the capacity to make quick and confident decisions Willingness to travel to an off-site location, including overnight stays, could be required Positive attitude; treats others with fairness and respect – expects the same in return Experience in communicating feedback, both receiving and implementing solutions/improvements Here are some of the Physical Requirements for this role: Ability to sit for long hours Must be able lift 50lbs Must be able to drive in inclement weather like snow, wind, and rain. during hot summers and cold winters Work at heights may be required, as well as outdoors, exposed to the elements year-round.  Ability to submit a pre-employment physical, reference checks, drug screen, motor vehicle report, and criminal background check #IND1
