ASRS Tech - Orange Shift
Maintains, troubleshoots and repairs all equipment (including automation equipment) in area of assignment (Includes maintaining equipment, safety devices and the use of proper safety procedures while troubleshooting, or repairing equipment).
Responsible for repairs and corrections within all areas of the Automated Storage and Retrieval System including confined space and high elevation areas.
Responsible for safe operation and upkeep of access crane and equipment.
Maintains complete familiarity with production support equipment and equipment in all production departments
Fabricates complex pieces (conveyors, equipment parts, etc) from items, sketches or blue prints.
Insures that all equipment in department of assignment is safe to include proper guarding, no pinch points and no sharp edges.
Rebuilds gearboxes, hoists, and other complex equipment used in the plant.
Responsible to complete all paper work such as work orders, downtime sheets, parts usage sheets, and miscellaneous logs as required.
Responsible for good housekeeping in area of assignment in production and maintenance departments
Perform project work as assigned
Assist other maintenance and production team members as required
Must be available to work other shifts as needed. Shifts may vary due to business needs.

Perform all process CP, CCP, QP, and CQP checks required for the position. Follow reaction plans for Food Safety, Food Quality and customer requirement deviations. Be able to identify and understand customer requirements and assist in assuring proper production operation. Demonstrate identity of product and, record accurate data on production reports
- Must pass power equipment certification as needed.
- Ability to develop an excellent working relationship with fellow team members and with other plant departments.
- Ability to perform electrical trouble shooting on equipment as needed.
- Ability to perform repairs on building and material handling equipment.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow complex trouble shooting instructions and identify parts from equipment maintenance automation manuals.
- Ability to read, comprehend and follow complex trouble shooting instructions and identify parts from equipment maintenance manuals.
- Ability to safely test and run all equipment in the department.
- Ability to use proper lifting techniques in order to work in a safe manner.
- Ability to safely operate maintenance machines and miscellaneous shop equipment.
- Moderate knowledge in operating and maintaining welders (Shielded Metal Arc, TIG, MIG, & Oxyacetylene), lathe, milling
- Must be able to effectively communicate with fellow partners.
- Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
- Must be able to safely operate access crane for ASRS at high elevations.
- Must be able to work overtime as required.
Equipment used to perform the job: forklift, electric hand jack, shrink-wrap machine, pallet inverter Significant worksite measurements would be; weight of cases for the following products; (8oz.-17.5#), (3lb.-33#), (30lb-30#), (pillow pack-7#), (1oz-7#), (3oz-2#), (SCC-11#), weight of one pallet (40-70#), weight of roll shrink wrap (38#), weight of pallet separator (17#), weight of bucket of bakers cheese (30#), force to push/pull case of product on skid (16#), force to push/pull floor cleaning equipment (14#), force to remove one pallet separator from a skid of inverted product (up to 90#), force to push/pull a case of product on skid (60#) PPE is necessary in all areas, including, safety shoes, hairnet, gloves, goggles, face shield, ear protection, hardhat May be exposed to wet or damp environments.
OTHER QUALIFYING CONDITIONSBidders must have an overall “successful” rating on their Performance Feedback/Coaching assessment. If more than six months have passed since the last assessment, another session may be conducted to evaluate current performance. To be eligible for consideration for this position, you must have an appropriate score on a written test as well as pass the hands-on maintenance test. Partners may be ineligible for bidding if under current disciplinary action. To be eligible for consideration for this position, you must have an appropriate score on Ramsay Testing.
