Work with Leaders and fellow partners to ensure Food Safety and Partner Safety. Understand and execute standard operating procedures relative to position following all Safe Quality Food requirements. Perform all PCP and CCP checks required for position. Follow reaction plan for Food Safety, Food Quality and customer requirement outages and by contacting TA/TL. Be able to identify and understand customer requirements and assist in assuring proper operation and product. Record accurate data on production reports. Enter and maintain various production Information into computer system.

This job is involved in a variety of tasks in the manufacturing of dairy products. Incumbents are involved with the lifting, palletizing, de-palletizing, stacking packing, cream cheese products. Lifting up to 50 pounds is common.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Follow guidelines carefully when completing this section to ensure ADA compliance.)

Each day perform one or more of the following assignments:

Perform varied tasks to pack cream cheese including: operating 3# loaf filler, Delkor, Poucher, 30# or 50# bulk filler, making boxes, lining, weighing or sealing boxes, maintaining quality, packing 3lb or 8 oz cartons into larger cartons, feeding or packing tubs or cups, palletizing boxes onto pallets, lift truck pallets to cooler. Re-stacking boxes in cooler.

Perform varied tasks as assigned by Team Advisor or designee.

Perform a variety of others tasks related to the clean-up and housekeeping of the plant following all SQF requirements.

Perform all production data functions on the OPM Computer stations, along with entering equipment repair work orders.

Perform CIP, COP, tear down, inspection, correction, and assembly of equipment used.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Occasional duties not included above.)

Perform various clean-up functions of equipment used for packaging and processing, washing floors and walls, as needed.

Train partners to meet requirements of this position (as they train for a General Operator Position).

Perform various stacking work in coolers.

Re-working of under grade product.

Take physical inventory.

INTERACTING RELATIONSHIPS

Interacts with TAs, operators, and other production partners. Must have good communication skills along with being a team player. Must work well with others.

EXPECTATIONS/STANDARDS

Complete tasks as assigned by team advisor/operator according to machine set rates and/or team advisor's/operator's expectations. Must possess basic math, counting, calculator and computer use skills.

Must be able to learn how to operate an electric pallet dolly.
